what I learned from this presentation

The main thing that I learned from this presentation is that the water we drink every day is very clean we have multiple filter in my house and the water we drink may be cleaner then the water from bottled water it can also keep us healthy by people adding florid. I also found that the water coming out of the water treatment plan is cleaner then the water in the bark rive. I think that drinking water from the tap is very clean and fine to drink.

12-12 to 12-18

This week in the academy we still spent a lot of time working on this water presentation. I still love working on one thing at at time. This is how I thought the academy would be and I really like it this way. I hope we keep the academy this way. The other thing that was really fun this week was the trip to the water treatment plant. I believe that our poster in art turned out good. Other than that this was just a good week.

December 5-11

This week in the ILA was different with all the unexpected stuff that went on. One of the really fun things we did was our walk down to the bark river. It was good to see how clean and lucky we are to have that run right thought our back yard. The other big thing were working on is this water thing. I am so glad that for once we can finally work on on one thing at a time! I really hope it stays like thins for a long time. Other than that i'm really happy about how this is going. Our poster looks great in art and I hope we can stay focused on the water presentation all next week besides our field trips.

blog for 28-4

This week was my first week back from break so the first couple day I was playing just doing everything I missed. Other than that In art we mad a video that will be sent to the little 8th graders in different schools. In the actual ILA class were working on a presentation about bottled water compared to tap water in school. We also are starting to learn about elements and chemical builds in science. Finally in English we finished Of Mice and Men so we will probably start a new book soon. 

blog for 20-27

I know this blog will probably not be up to par. But I don't know how to right it because I was not in school all week. What I got done out of school was read through section fore of Mice and Men. I researched the rivers and found my maps. I am nervous about this righting the paragraphs because I have herd from two people that its really hard and they don't know what to do. I didn't do anything for science and I hope I wasn't supposed to. Other then that I enjoyed this week a lot and wish I could do my homework in a hot tube every week.  

November 13-17

This week in the academy we worked with this science skit and think globally act locally. Because i'm not going to be here next week my contribution to the science skit was making the model for my team. In think globally act locally I have found all the maps so I believe i'm up to date there. In the book Of Mice And Men i'll read to the 4th section and that should be good. Everything in the Academy has been going good and I cant complain about anything.

November 7-11

This week in the academy we spent a lot of time in science. I missed Monday but when I was in class we worked on the make ups of different objects. In art we started working with clay and making our 3-D shapes. In Social Studies we are working on a new big assignment. Hopefully I can finish this by the end of the week. Finally in ELA we are working with mice of men getting a background for when we start the book. I do not really have any concerns about the academy right now.

October 31 to November 6

This week in ILA we worked on a few different things. We finished our constitution and started some other small things. We looked at how our bogs looked. We watched a movie on this old righter. Lastly we made crystals in science. This new project were starting looks interesting it should be fun. It will be interesting to see wear we go with this. Finally I really like the idea of how were going to go about this water project.

weekly blog

Theirs not a ton of stuff to talk about for this week it was three days and the first days we spent a lot of time working on this Constitution for Xlandea. Then on the last day we presented to the school board. This went a lot better than I thought it would. I hope that the school board considers our opinions and presentation and we see one to one happen in the next few years.

This week in the academy we finished aceptance and had a final chat about it. We also worked a lot on our presentation to the school board and I think it well turn out really good. I am looking forward to the short week and hope we get a little more work time for this presentation. The only thing i'm not liking about the academy is that it seems like were working on 3 or 4 things at once were i wish i could just focus on one thing.  

Another weekly blog

This was great week short and fun we got a lot of work time and I feel that i got a lot done in that time. This is what I feel I signed up for. Give me something to work on and let me do it. Another highlight of the week was the apple store we learned a lot about the apple products  and got some very unexpected  ansews to our questions in out interview this will help us a lot in our presentation.

This Weeks Blog

Best of all were done running! I'm really looking forward to this field trip to the apple store that should be fun. The one thing I would change about the academy is that all this stuff is due Saturday that hard because I was going to do my achieve and blog yesterday but I slept in had to leave within 20 minutes of getting up. I didn't go home tell today so I didn't get a chance to use my computer. Other than that I think all is going well

This week in the academy

This week in the academy has been a fun one. Jake and I were tired at the end from running on the elliptical's for 30 min and I must admit I'm not really looking forward to doing it for another
four day's. The other thing that's on my mind is that I'm worried that were going to be rushes on actual time for working on the presentation. But that is our fault because we chose to run for 30 min other wise I'm really enjoying this class and I hope it keeps going good.

My Personal Blog

This was a good week. Nothing bad happened. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to talk about the academy or my personal life so I guess I will talk about both. This week was my birthday so that's always a pick me up  to have all those happy birthday posts on your Facebook wall. In the academy I'm really looking forward to this next assignment. I think its going to be fun.

E-reader's

I would rather read from Kindle for many reason. The first is that there are over 10,000 books you can download. Another is that it only weights a few pounds so thousands of books weight less then an average hard cover. the only disadvantage is that u have a battery life so u might not be able to plug in on a plane or on the beach. The other disadvantage is that it is a tinny screen so if u have bad eye site u might have a hard time reading.

Carer readiness

Carer readiness to me mean that u have to be ready for your carer as simple as that is. In the academy we have used a ton of collaboration and group work we have also used a ton of technological work. I think the things were doing group work and using technology this is what my dad come home and seas he dose every day. The carer i'm going to work for is  bankruptcy lawyer because there is always work there doing the best when the economic time is down so that's job insurance and they make a ton of money.

Accuracy is being close or on target most of the time precision is 100% on every time. A triple beam balance will be accurate but not very precise. A significant digit can be a number such as 384,238. It can be a number split at the decimal such as 43.2309. Thing That I learend was to always remember to zero the scale when weighting water weight.

The thing I learned most from the ropes course

The thing I learned most from the ropes course actually came from the run through the swinging rope game. I was the person who messed it up the first time time mostly because I rushed it, didn't think and just ran. The the next time I thought about it while I waited in line and told my self the second it hit the ground I would start sprinting through. This worked very well. So this is what I did every time for the rest of the game and it worked extremely well. This taught me that you have to slow down and think about things before you just rush in and do them.

What i learned from building the new ILA room

The thing I learned most from building the room was that you have to think out side the box and not be afraid to move things around. All but one of the groups had left the the cubicles in the same place. Only one of the groups had the idea to move them. We liked the cubicles once they were inserted into the corner of the room. Because they were moved the presentation area could be moved which everyone also liked. So what I learned from this is that the best ideas seem to come out when you move things around and think outside the box.
